# Quest participation

Upon first entering the game, you will see a brief guide on how to use the app—please take a moment to review it. You will also receive a Basic Camera of Common rarity with a memory card installed that allows you to complete 3 photo quests. To access more quests, you will need to install a previously minted Legendary memory card in the camera, which will unlock an additional photo quests.

1. To install a memory card in the camera, tap the memory card icon beneath the camera, select your memory card from the menu, and tap on it. Then confirm the installation by pressing the "Confirm" button. Important: Make sure you have completely used up the previous memory card installed in the camera, as installing a new one will irreversibly replace the old card

2. On the main screen, select one of the three daily photo quests you want to complete right now. You can complete all three quests during the day, which will increase your chances of winning.

3. Tap on the selected quest and carefully read the task instructions to understand what you need to do.

4. Select the reward for the quest (you can find more details in the "[Photo quests](/pictographs-docs/game-mechanics/game-modes/photo-quests.md)" section under "Reward selection") and then press the "Confirm" button.

5. Take a photo for the quest, check the preview to make sure it looks good and you are satisfied with it, then press the "Get Photo" button to continue.

6. After you take a photo for the quest, it will be reviewed by AI within a short time to check if it meets the requirements of the task. You can see the quest status to the right of the quest: "under review," "accepted," or "rejected." If your photo was rejected and you believe this is a mistake, please contact [support](http://t.me/picto_support) on Telegram to request a reassessment of your photo.

7. The day after completing your photo quests, you can participate in daily photo battles using those photos and compete for a prize spot on the daily leaderboard. To do this, go to the "Battles" tab (the crossed swords icon in the center of the bottom menu bar) and select the "Daily Quests Battle" tile.

8. The battle will start once there are 6 participants. During the battle, you will be shown pairs of photos from other participants. Each photo will be compared against every other photo for a fair competition. For each pair presented, you need to choose the photo you like better and give it a like. After all participants have voted, the battle results will be displayed, and you can join the next battle again.

9. All likes received during the Daily Quest Battle are reflected in the Daily Top Rating leaderboard, which determines the winners each day. The more photo battles you participate in, the higher your chances of reaching the top of the leaderboard.
